A new unused unstruck matchbook (made by the Monarch Match Co. in San Jose, CA.) may have slight handling marks or very minor scuffs or discoloring from being stored for so long. The La' Belle operated from 1961-1981 and was a legal brothel in Pershing county Nevada, 90 miles NE of Reno and was considered a first-rate brothel, one of the only ones which allowed women to enter as "guests".
